About us

Small fair.
Big hearts.

The Smallest Wine Fair started in 2023 because there wasn't a wine fair in Singapore we actually wanted to walk into. Too many tastings felt like you had to know the right words before you were allowed to enjoy what was in your glass.

So we built the opposite. TSWF is small, unpretentious, and made for people who want to drink good wine and hear the stories of the people who make it. Small started as our scale, but it's come to mean something more: a wine community that feels closer, warmer, and open to everyone.

About The Smallest Wine Fair

The Smallest Wine Fair (TSWF) is Singapore's first independent wine festival dedicated to organic, biodynamic, and low-intervention wines.

Born from the belief that great wine should be approachable and fun, TSWF creates spaces where people can learn, taste, and connect, without pretense. We celebrate the farmers, winemakers, and importers shaping Asia's modern wine culture, from Singapore to Bangkok and beyond.

Through storytelling, education, and collaboration, our mission is to build a vibrant Singapore wine community that values sustainability, curiosity, and connection.

Meet the team

Four people, one shared belief: good wine should come with zero gatekeeping.

Aleksandar Draganic

Co-founder

Aleks grew up in Sarajevo, a city nobody associates with wine. After five years shaping Singapore's beverage programmes, he got tired of watching people forced to fit in at traditional wine tastings. So he and Yida launched TSWF, small, unpretentious, and built for people to actually enjoy what's in their glass.

"TSWF is a festival with zero gatekeeping. Just good wine made by and for people who actually want to drink it and tell their stories."

Yida Chua

Co-founder

Trading spreadsheets for wine lists, Yida has been a wine distributor since 2018, after post-graduate studies in Grenoble. Having visited wine fairs around the world and finding nothing similar at home, he co-founded TSWF in 2023.

"There just wasn't a local wine fair I'd walk into, so with my team we created the wine fair of our dreams for people who feel the same way as I do."

Joyce Huang

Marketing

With over a decade of experience in writing and editing, followed by six years selling wine in retail and restaurants, Joyce brings together her love of words and wine to help grow wine culture through TSWF. For her, the essence of wine is connection and conviviality.

"While we did initially start off small in scale, to me, the 'small' in TSWF stands for making the wine community closer and more accessible to all."

Asmine Koh

Creative

After six years flying as cabin crew, Asmine moved into F&B, where running Nothing Fancy, a cosy wine bar, sparked her interest in low-intervention wine. Today she runs Hideout Coffee Bar, designs for TSWF, and spends two months a year in Germany making wine.

"TSWF, together with the different parts of my life, is emblematic of what I love to do: creating spaces and experiences where people can eat, drink, connect, and have a good time."
